I think his shutter speed was fast enough to freeze him in the air between steps and the aperature was small enough to keep him and some of the crowd behind him infocus.
I think he was sitting across the court when he took this shot.
I like this one alot because it gives a great example of still life, its well framed, there is nothing distracting from the subject, and good lighting to bring focus on the bike.
I think this is a great photo because it fills the frame, its a great candid moment and its at the peak of emotion/action.
I don't think this is a verry good photo because the frame is not filled all the way and there is alot of distracting things in the shot, also it is not even, also its a little blurry. It is however near the peak of emotion/action, and it's a candid moment.
