Cover types
1. Early Magazine Covers - Dedicated the first page to table of contents and the title, also they
tented to have just the title and publication data and an illustration.
2. The Poster Cover - Verry little or no words were used at all on the front cover except the Title. These magazines looked like they were ment to be hung on walls and to be framed.
3. Pictures Married to Type -More words were begining to show up in these types of covers.
The model's face began to overlap the title. The picture and the words were related to stories.
4. In the Forest of Words - The cover lines and the photos overlap. Alot of words are used in these covers, and the models are in specific poses to allow multiple coverlines.
